  • CONSTRUCTION

    Solid (white) fiberglass hull with fore and aft fiberglass stringers providing an exceptionally stiff hull;  the original teak decks were removed, including the Masonite type base, and replaced with 7/8" plywood decks comprised of 2 layers (3/8” & ½”) covered by Dupont Dynel and epoxy, painted cream colour. All deck beams have been replaced except for two full width ones at either end of the deckhouse; as have the mahogany toe-rails; The original mahogany deck-house was beautifully overlayed in mahogany and is finished bright. The after cabin bulkhead was replaced. There is a teak overlay in the cockpit.

     

    The yacht has a long fin keel and skeg supported rudder; bow and stern pulpits; double lifelines; 2 hatches; 4 opening ports; 2 Dorade Vents; pedestal wheel steering.

  • ACCOMMODATIONS

    The yacht has 6 berths and 6’2” headroom. See the attached plan.

     

    The interior has been restored to a high standard in mahogany; dark blue Ultra Suede corduroy-like fabric upholstery; painted deck-head; dark mahogany cabin sole.

     

    The galley, to port aft, has a 3 burner Force 10 LPG stove with oven; stainless steel sink; ice box; counter and locker space. The chart table is to starboard ahead of a quarter berth.  The head has a marine toilet connected to a large holding tank and Y valve; sink and vanity.

     

    The yacht has a Force 10 LPG bulkhead mounted cabin heater. She has a 45 gallon fresh water capacity.

  • ENGINE & ELECTRICAL

    ENGINE: 2015 Yanmar 3GM FWC (heat exchanger) 30 HP marine diesel engine; hour meter showing about 150 operating hours. The engine beds were replaced at the time of the engine installation.

     

    ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS: The yacht was completely re-wired in the course of the restoration, including the mast. She has a 12 volt system with new circuit breaker panel; 120 amp/hr. alternator on the engine. There are 3 battery banks: House – 2 X 6 volt golf cart type batteries; Engine Starting – 12 volt; Anchor Windless – 12 volt. There is a 110 volt shore power system with receptacles and shore-cord. The yacht has a full compliment of navigation and interior lights.

  • SAILS & RIGGING

    SAILS:  1- main, 1 - 100% Jib,  3 - Genoas, 1 - Spinnaker staysail, 1 - .75 oz.,  spinnaker, 1 storm jib.

     

    The owner has used the boat for day-sailing so he has been using a Dacron mainsail and #3 Genoa.

     

    RIGGING: Aluminum mast, spinnaker pole and reaching-strut; stainless steel standing rigging; 7 Barient & 2 Enkes winches plus a reel-winch for the main halyard: 2 X #28 self-tailing (ST) Enkes Primary winches; 2 X #28 Secondary winches; Harken traveller and hydraulic back-stay adjuster.

  • ELECTRONICS

    Standard Horizon VHF; Ritchie Compass mounted on the wheel pedestal; B&G #2000 Speed, log, wind instruments and sounder; Simrad GPS Plotter and Radar; Simrad Autopilot (not completely installed).

  • GENERAL

    Maxwell electric anchor windless; bow roller; aluminum Delta/spade anchor; Danforth type spare anchor; chain rode; dock-lines and fenders; boat hook; life ring; teak swim ladder; Fairclough fitted canvas winter cover; barbeque.

    BROKER’S COMMENT: The owner, who is retired from the lumber business, has undertaken an 11 year restoration of this classic, and very pretty, yacht. He had access to, and used the very finest materials. Since her launching in 2019, she has been primarily used for day-sailing.
