  • CONSTRUCTION

    White fiberglass hull with white deck and deckhouse (deck Awlgripped: 2025); black boottop; black cove stripe; black bottom paint (2025); Shoal Draft wing keel; elliptical spade rudder; fiberglass and Kevlar hybrid laminate; balsa core with isophthalic gelcoat; bow & stern pulpits; double lifelines;  fold-down opening transom with integral swim ladder; roomy ‘T’ shaped cockpit with pedestal wheel steering; 48” wheel; helm seat with cushion; cockpit table (2005); 9 hatches and ports; new sliding companionway hatch.

  • ACCOMMODATIONS

    The yacht sleeps 6-7 and has 6’3” headroom.    Centerline double berths fore and aft. The forward cabin has a sink and hanging locker to port, a seat to starboard. The main cabin has a ‘U’ shaped settee to starboard that makes a double berth; there is a settee to port making a single berth with an aft-facing navigation station. The galley, to starboard, has a three burner LPG stove with oven, generous top loading ice box with 12 volt refrigeration (2025); double SS sinks and plenty of counterspace and storage. The enclosed head to port has a manual marine toilet (2025); separate shower, sink, vanity and linen storage. The aft cabin has a hanging locker, mirror and lots of storage.

    The yacht has a teak and holly sole (replaced 2025), teak ceiling and teak veneer furnishings with solid teak trim; fabric upholstery (2020).

  • ENGINE & ELECTRICAL

    ENGINE:  1990 Yanmar #3HM35F FWC marine diesel inboard; 35 HP; fixed propeller; Dripless Shaft-Seal (2025); engine mounts replaced in 2005; dripless shaft seal; recent cutless bearing; 6.5 kt. cruising speed.

    ELECRICAL SYSTEMS: The yacht has both 12 Volt DC and 110 Volt AC systems; 3 lead/acid 8C batteries (2025); 40 amp Trucharge battery charger (2005); Balmar alternator w/ upgraded regulator (2025); 110 shore power with cord; battery monitor with selector switch; cabin (LED: 2025), navigation & deck lights; bilge alarm (2021).

    BROKER’S COMMENT:   The C&C 37/40 was sold in three models. The 37R is perhaps the best known as it’s the racing version. The listed yacht is the 37/40 Plus model which was designed for performance cruising with a more luxurious interior and cruising appointments. This boat has had considerable freshening and upgrading by a knowledgeable owner
