ACCOMMODATIONS: The yacht sleeps 7 and has 6’4” headroom.

She has an exceptionally roomy layout: large vee berth stateroom forward with ample storage. The salon is open, bright and spacious with a dinette to port. It lowers to convert to a double berth. Opposite to starboard is a long settee with Nav station at the aft end. To port of companionway is the galley. Aft of the galley is a private owner’s cabin that can be accessed either thru the galley or the head compartment.

The Master Stateroom has a large anthwartships berth, ample storage lockers and cedar lined hanging locker.

The roomy enclosed head is to starboard of companionway. It has access both from the aft cabin and the salon. The head has a manual marine toilet connected to a 25 gallon holding tank; sink, vanity and shower.

The ‘L’ shaped galley is located port of companionway and aft of the salon. It works well underway or at anchor. There is abundant counter space; storage bins and drawers;  Corian counter tops; deep double SS sinks with pressure Hot & Cold water; 6 gallon Hot Water Heater (heated from 110v or off the engine); Hillerange - 3 burner LPG stove and oven; Microwave Oven;  2 Large insulated AC/DC refrigerators, of which a portion of one can be used as a freezer

1994 Yanmar 38HP marine diesel inboard with shaft drive; fresh water cooling (heat exchanger); 35 gallon fuel capacity; fixed 3 blade propeller; there is no hour meter but the engine hours are presumed to be low given the nature of the yacht’s usage.

SAILS & RIGGING:

The Hunter has a B&R rig with swept back double spreaders.  The builder reports that this allows the yacht to point higher. The fractional rig results in a bigger mainsail and relatively smaller jib. The Isomat tapered anodized mast with split back stay is deck stepped.

BROKER’S COMMENT: 1994 Hunter Legend 37.5 was one of Hunter\'s most successful models.  The boat is exceptionally bright and airy. It has a very spacious layout for a boat of this size;  5 hatches and 9 opening ports for excellent cross ventilation;  and she can sleep seven. It is a proven coastal cruiser with a fractional rig and large sail area, coupled with a shoal-draft wing keel, spade rudder and sleek hull lines. The vessel quickly reaches hull speed even in light air.  "Crescendo" has been well cared for and she is very clean. She is a fresh-water boat that I sourced for the owner in Lake Erie.
